December 21, 2012

Today the sun shines very brightly
 I got up very late.
Only at half past eight I remembered the fateful day of Dec 21.
A lot of hype for the last weeks months gone by...
World will die.
How stupid and superstitious people are.
Media was making money
Showing some people,
Scholars, clowns, the intelligentia
Or astrologers into limelight.
Seeking their expert advice

Honesty one does not know
The clock of the universe-
The capability of our own sun to emit fire...
Peeping into the infinite number of stars
In the sky or while bathing under the moonlight,
Or walking through the dense woods
Or wading through the chill stream
We all rejoice and rejuvenate
Ourselves into a recharged better human,

World will live long, with all its colours
If we behave better with nature
And do not allow bad to drive the good
From circulation.

Mid September 2012 Musing

Will you bring back what once it was Mine?
Will you change the Fate’s Design?
When will the glow, Return on her face? A perpetual beauty for me
Will you reverse the clock? And unite us in perpetual bliss!
And take us back to those blissful and peaceful days of 1970s
Will you give her the hope, energize the molecules in brain
To love this world and nature and many pleasant events to come
Will shakthi give more shakthi, from a Distance,
Her presence always cajoles her
It’s against the nature when innocents suffer,
Perpetually for ever without any redemption
Make me suffer to make her healthier
She has more wisdom and knowledge
More balanced and more beautiful
More altruistic and sacrificial in nature
It’s against nature, to heap more injustice on her
She’s more like painted pacific ocean,
Surface is calm, but underneath the sea
There’s a raging volcano
She suffers at the bottom of her Heart,
Mind and all atomic particles
It’s time, Oh Lord, she deserved more peace
She must become more serene as serene could be
Even without Me
I know, you can’t bring back/What once it was mine.
I know, ‘I’ and ‘my’ will cease to exist one day
She will have eternal peace and bliss
But now, in the present, at each moment
Let her not get deprived of and fun laughter
All the simplest pleasures of life under the sun.

A Prayer to the Creator

30.09.2012
Today, while washing a few utensils in the Kitchen
You did send me a signal I am no longer a young man
The sudden excruciating pain at the back
At the bottom of backbone
The critical inability to bend or move
Or even stretch, to switch off light
Your signal was clear to me, my lord
My wrong posture of sitting on the chair
And also writing and many a time of dozing on the chair
The great mental stress, and academic greed to read
And also the desire write more and more,
The gross cumulative neglect of walking,
The poverty of love and concern
From the better half....
All must have had a cascading effect on health
I will not become more anxious, or panicky
Today, by the divine will, the eldest daughter appeared
At right time and gave some first aid,
Playing the compensatory Role for Sakthi,
I know, I will have to take care of myself
How will I go tomorrow and lecture at Karaikal
Will car travel accelerate the pain?
Is thinking always that I am not aged, wrong?
Oh God, I will not meekly submit to any kind of ill health?
I will correct my mistakes & rectify wrong postures
Help me to perform my work and render justice to you.
