- Professor D Sambandhan - Formerly Dean , School of Social Science & International Studies Pondicherry Central University. invited speaker to various institutes of higher learning & visiting professor to University Of Paris 13 & had the privilege to address senior officers of Reserve Bank of India as also the Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission on issues of utmost concerns. Areas of specialization are International Finance, Exchange Rate Economics, and Structural Economic Reforms. Professional Education: 1) Ph.D in Economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics ,University of Pune in 1992, Commendable Report from Prof. De Costa of Bombay University 2) M.Phil in Economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics University of Pune in 1979. 3) M.A Economics from Presidency College, Madras -Madras University in 1970. 4) B.A Economics fromTagore Arts College, Pondicherry- Madras University in1968. Since mid 1990s has been contributing to Hindu Business Line on issues of contemporary relevance.
