Bemused and Blidfolded By the Intoxicating beauty of the Girl

Having commented on the pros and cons of cyber intimacy let me againevisit the true love as depicted in Kural ,the ancient Tamil text dealing with all aspects of life. There are many wonderful translations of the said classic and yet at 60 plus I have self imposed a task of doing a simple translation and interpretation of this treasure - the infinite variety of which cannot be captured by words.

My new found love for kural is meant for going back to the roots of my language which for all intent and purpose had  been forgotten by the force of teaching Economics in English Language for more than four decades.I know I am not exploiting my full potentials of my subject but I am also aware that myself imposed commitment is also equally important for I can work differently.

IN the next few days I will dwell upon the perceived all encompassing beauty of a girl.

Who is this incredibly charming and pleasantly beautiful girl ?

Is she an angel from the heavenly sky?

Or a forest dwelling colourful peacock?

Oh,this enchanting damsel is wearing heavy ear rings

Then she must be a human on earth.
