A poem:when Tsunami struck us we smiled

Until recently we were floating like butterflies
With coloured wings of joy, peace and happiness
Now we behave like vicious bee stinging at each other
Forgetting the pleasant past of our twenties and ferocious thirties
When Academics and Love walked hand in hand
Without creating any conflict of interest mainly because of your
Patience, perseverance, tolerance and the language of cultured silence
The golden period of life of bliss and friendship sustained by
Supreme innocence and youthful exuberance of our beautiful children

It is time both of us realized the sheer foolishness and a kind of
Shallowness enveloping us like thick clouds and thunderstorms
Delaying the flight of our journey to reach our sweet home
To rest and relax and find warmth, in each other’s arm.

My dear, The great Tsunami has swallowed many mercilessly,
All of us were lucky to survive and escape from Nature’s fury
Let us forget the past and enjoy the beauty of the earth and also
ALL THE ABSURDITIES OF LIFE,
Getting the inspiration from the movie:
The Life of The beautiful Mind  the film that moved me and
The book on Nash’s biography still remains unopened.

Time and tide will change and we shall rejoice for ever
