HER INNATE NATURAL BEAUTY HIJACKS HIS HARMONES;STRUGGLES FOR WORDS TO DESCRIBE HER

Almost all the poets, while dealing with the subject love, give pride of place to the ‘eye’, which really becomes an ‘electronic media’ to kindle love and enrich it.   Any poet will have his own element of exaggeration, dramatization but still it reveals more truth than it conceal. Eyes of the beautiful girls are the strongest assets which will simply hijack the males just like that and Valluvar says thatthey are the most powerful weapons on earth.
Since it is only a very very preliminary study we confine ourselves to some select kurals which depict the finer feelings from the standpoint of both boy and the girl.
The lover is so crestfallen by the beauty and he is at a loss to figure out who she is? He praises by saying whether she is one who looks like an angel -so magical or mystical or a colourful pretty peacock with heavy rings on her earlobe  and her sharp glances look like knife or powerful arrows aimed at him. Enchanted with this divine beauty and completely hijacked by her infinite variety, his heart  craves and sighs for her..
The lover is so scared of her eye which penetrates like an arrow or knife in his eye for the simple reason that the eyebrows could not stay firm and prevent her entry.

She is a shy girl having the eye of the deer and her modesty by itself is a jewel.  Therefore he says she does not require any external gold makeup. With her deer like look and all the intoxication in her eyes the damsel is on full song to captivate him
