when will Modi learn the political nature of Kashmir problem and understand why militancy has been on the rise under his regime .what happened to your conciliatory policy towards Kashmir earlier

This brief note is to draw attention that to what extent Modi's intention to take away the special status and privileges  which guarantee Kashmir autonomy through,Article 370 and its cousin 35-A.It is clear that Modi believes in repression and intimidation in a few cases to run India as if the people are fools .Given the current clout Of P Chidambaram,he may not be the right person to quote and yet while commenting on the in the number of local recruits the  former union congress minister questioned the muscular, militarists and maximalist approach,in dealing with Kashmir.
In a recent article in Deccan Herold,A G Noorani has made a pertinent observation that repression is not a solution to kashmir problem.
I quote:"History demonstrates that no fighting that has roots in the people's sentiments  can be extinguished by brute force. That is what Modi wants to do.He is certain to fail"
